John has been involved with pistachio cultivation since their commercial introduction in 1976. Recently, he directed the successful development of a 4,400 acre pistachio orchard in the Central Valley from the ground preparation, installation of the irrigation system, and the planting of the trees. He also has been directly involved with the management of large acreages of almonds. He is cost conscious farm manager consistently producing high yields. He has also responsible for a variety of row crops. He spearheaded the planting of organic blueberries, a new commercial crop in the Central Valley. John is a graduate of the University of California, Davis which is one of the premier agricultural universities in the United States. John maintains numerous contacts within the agricultural industry.
